We are seeking a skilled and motivated Control Centre Technician to join our National Assets Team, based in Burton, South Australia. As a Control Centre Technician, you will play a pivotal role in a unique Control Centre environment supporting the safe and effective Operation and Maintenance of a fleet of water treatment Assets around Australia and the Pacific Region.

Job Description
What your day may look like:-
Applying your knowledge of Industrial process control & Industrial equipment in a Control Centre environment.
Remotely monitor and control critical infrastructure water treatment assets from our Burton based Control Centre
Providing process fault finding to ensure plant operability and water quality and volume KPI’s.
Communicating with and providing support to Service Technicians, Senior Control Centre Technicians, Engineers and Client Control Centres
Responding to alarms and managing outcomes with event reports, effective logs and handover notes.
Working with the Control Centre Team to improve overall service delivery and to provide 24/7 Control Centre Technician coverage
Assisting the Control Centre Team with accuracy of information and updating processes and records.
Demonstrating a commitment to safety protocols and a proactive approach to preventing accidents and incidents
Our Control Centre operates 24/7 therefore you must be able to work a rostered shift pattern of day and night shifts, covering 12-hours per shift on a 4-on/4-off roster that typically operates as 2 x day shifts, 2 x night shifts and followed by 4 days off.
Essential
Applicable Trade or Engineering qualification.
Familiarity with SCADA systems and other control and monitoring technologies
Familiarity with Control Centre operations, procedures, and policies.
Medium to advanced computer skills using Microsoft Office suite.
Previous experience in remote plant operation within the water treatment, industrial, or process industries.
Desirable
12-hour shift work and night shift experience.
General Industrial automation awareness and experience
Exposure to industrial Operations and Maintenance activities.
Knowledge of major industrial clients in our areas of Operations.
