Are you looking to work with a dynamic energetic team and develop your Electrical skills to the next level, look no further the SA Projects and Fabrication Team needs you. We are expanding on the back of a number of large projects and are seeking a skilled and safety conscious Electrical Technician who has the ‘right Osmoflo attitude’ – a ‘can do’ approach, positive outlook, energy and motivation to deliver. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Electrician to be hands-on in the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of industrial electrical equipment both in our workshop and on-site. You’ll support the delivery of high-quality, cost-effective projects that meet our client specifications and uphold our commitment to safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What your day may look like?

  • Install and fabricate electrical plant equipment in both workshop and field environments.
  • Apply relevant Australian Standards (AS3000, AS4024, etc.) across all electrical tasks.
  • Collaborate with contractors and project teams to resolve installation issues.
  • Assist in the development of Fabrication Management Plans tailored to specific projects.
  • Supervise and monitor Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and wet testing alongside Project and Commissioning Engineers.
  • Contribute to on-time, in-budget project delivery.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and junior engineers.
  • Backfill roles and assist the Electrical Fabrication Supervisor as needed.
  • Champion a strong safety and QHSE culture across all work activities.

Job Description

To be successful:

  • Trade-qualified Electrician
  • Experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation installation
  • Strong understanding of Australian electrical and piping standards
  • Excellent supervisory and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety practices
  • Experience with water treatment or industrial manufacturing environments is desirable.
  • Current Australian Driver’s License
  • Forklift License
