Job Description
What the day might look like:
Lead and develop a team of Project Engineers to ensure the successful delivery of projects within agreed margins.
Manage resources, schedules, financials, and quality control guidelines.
Interface with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Review and approve project execution plans and variations.
Monitor project progress and financial forecasts.
Collaborate with procurement team to establish long-term supply chain partnerships.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise activities.
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and quality procedures.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Champion safety, quality, and compliance within the team.
What is Essential for Success?:
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical).
Extensive experience in Major Project Management, preferably in construction.
Proven management and supported complex projects of a larger scale $50 million +.
Demonstrated leadership and staff development experience.
Working knowledge of PMBOK and integrated financial systems.
Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Commitment to teamwork and customer focus.
AIPM Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM) or equivalent – Desirable.
