As we continue to expand our reach and influence in the industry, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Service and Operations Team Leader in NSW.  This is a leadership role within our Operations team, responsible for providing day to day support and leadership to Service Technicians, Plant Operators and Trades Assistant.  Some of these activities, include rostering, technical support, administration, and sales functions.  In addition to providing support to the Service & Operations Manager with the development of customer relationships and managing of key operations & maintenance customers.

Job Description

What your day might look like

  • Coordinate and liaise with team members to ensure all Operations and Maintenance commitments are met.
  • Provide daily support to the Service and Operations Manager, including responding to phone inquiries and assisting with administrative tasks.
  • Identify skill gaps within the team and provide necessary training and assistance.
  • Analyse plant operation data to ensure contractual obligations are met and manage stock control and consumable sales.
  • Manage condition of plant and WHS&E audit trails, as well as assist in TAG and Asset Management.
  • Troubleshoot process issues and implement improvements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support to address daily operational challenges.
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities by motivating the team, acknowledging contributions, and acting as a role model.
  • Attend meetings, handle customer inquiries, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Skills and Experience

  • Mechanical/Electrical or other Trade Qualified.
  • Commercial/Industrial water treatment experience.
  • Minimum 2 years in Leadership or BDM position.
  • Capacity to travel and work at remote sites.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy and attention to detail.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with reliability and punctuality.
  • Current Driver Licence.
