Job Description

As we continue to expand our reach and influence in the industry, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager, who will play a pivotal role in providing effective management, oversight, and coordination of various allocated projects. Leading a team of Project Managers and Project Engineers, this role will ensure project delivery in line with our company's governance framework, driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and adherence to budget and timeline constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a project team to ensure the successful delivery of projects within agreed margins.
  • Manage resources, schedules, financials, and quality control guidelines.
  • Set up project teams and provide strategic direction on project delivery methodologies.
  • Provide strategic direction and advice during tender development phases.
  • Interface with key stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review and approve project execution plans and variations.
  • Monitor project progress and financial forecasts.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to prioritise activities.
  • Lead risk management and procurement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and quality procedures.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Champion safety, quality, and compliance within the team.

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical).
  • AIPM Certified Practicing Project Manager (CPPM) or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in Major Project Management, preferably in construction
  • Demonstrated leadership and staff development experience.
  • Working knowledge of PMBOK and integrated financial systems.
  • Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to teamwork and customer focus.
