We’re looking for an experienced RO PlantCommissioning Engineer to join our commissioning team at Osmoflo and play a key role in delivering high‑performance water treatment and desalination plants across Australia and overseas. This hybrid role is ideal for someone based in WA, however we welcome applicants from across the country, who enjoys hands‑on technical work, problem‑solving, and working closely with clients and project teams.
You’ll be involved from factory acceptance testing through to site commissioning, performance verification, client training, and project handover—making this a highly varied and impactful position.

Job Description
Duties
You will be responsible for commissioning activities across multiple project phases, including:
Commissioning & Site Activities
Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and verify installation quality against drawings, standards, and specifications.
Perform pre‑commissioning and post‑commissioning activities on site.
Set up pumps, instruments, valves, and equipment for wet commissioning.
Coordinate and supervise membrane and media loading.
Documentation & Project Support
Prepare commissioning and pre‑commissioning documentation.
Provide technical input to bid, design, and procurement teams.
Client Engagement & Training
Prepare and deliver plant operation and maintenance training
Ensure smooth plant handover and formal client sign-off
Collaborate with internal stakeholders across design, bid and procurement teams
Budget & Planning
Work within project budgets and timelines
Identify and escalate risks or ambiguities early
Anticipate challenges impacting cost or schedule
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all activities are carried out safely.
Follow quality procedures and participate in regular reviews.
Adhere to QHSE management systems and associated policies.
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years’ experience commissioning large RO plants.
Strong background in commissioning documentation and report writing, related to RO plants.
Experience working directly with clients and coordinating internal stakeholders.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
